Join Us at the Next Meet

This month's guest is Ms. Danielle Hagan

the Executive Director for the Visually and Hearing Impaired.  Services for the Visually and Hearing Impaired Inc. (SVHI) began in 1984 as a non-profit for Grant County.  Though the group had been helping Grant County since 1950 with a support group as well as a newsletter. Their goal was to support each other through group activities such as picnics, parties, and tours. Their newsletter, "Insight" was to inform visually impaired persons of services and independent living information. Over the years the agency has moved locations as well as added services such as education, financial assistance, prevention, and individual assistance.
