Macha Eye Care opened in Anderson in 1999 to provide high-quality eye care to the surrounding communities. The practice grew steadily, eventually outgrowing our original 650 square foot office.
In 2003, Macha Eye Care moved to our current location, which gave us ample space for state-of-the-art lab equipment, a wide variety of high-end frames, and multiple exam rooms. We now have 25 staff, including 4 full-time doctors and 1 part-time doctor.
Introducing Fountain Square
In 2014, we realized that a second location was not only feasible but necessary. We added our downtown Indianapolis location so we could provide families the quality of care they deserve. With bilingual staff who speak English and Spanish, communities around Fountain Square now have more access to personalized, empathetic care.
At our Fountain Square location, we’ve been able to grow our niche services in sports vision, vision therapy, and specialty contact lens fittings.
Eye Care for Recreational & Professional Athletes
In 2016, we opened Peak Visual Performance (PVP), a clinic focused on sports vision for athletes. Peak Visual Performance was designed to help athletes hone their visual performance and eye movement skills to gain a competitive edge.
PVP’s unique training facility combines cutting-edge sports training with high-end testing equipment and diagnostic tools. As the only one of its kind in the United States, Peak Visual Performance enables athletes to train:
